Ben studied Violin Performance at the University of Melbourne. He has performed in chamber ensembles and orchestras across Australia, China, the USA and Europe.

Ben is a passionate educator and regularly adjudicates in competitions and conducts masterclasses in Victoria, NSW and Queensland. He has conducted at the Victoria State Music Camp, Melbourne Youth Music Summer School and regional music camps around Australia.

Student orchestras under Ben’s direction have won awards in Australia, Hong Kong and the USA. He is currently Head of Strings at Scotch College Melbourne where he manages a string program of more than 300 students.
